Description
Short Wonder PVA Foam Brushes for pool robots on slippery surfaces
The BWT Wonder Foam Brush, Short 3009AG is an original BWT spare part designed to improve the grip of the pool robot on particularly slippery surfaces such as mosaic, tiles, ceramics, painted concrete, some types of fiberglass and, in specific situations, also PVC or liner.
It is the ideal solution when the robot needs more traction to work better on walls, the waterline and difficult areas, especially in pools where the surface tends to reduce the grip of standard brushes.
Dimensions
- Width: 13.5 cm
- Outer diameter: 8.5 cm
When a Wonder brush (PVA) is needed
This brush is particularly recommended when the pool robot shows typical symptoms of poor grip or climbing difficulty, for example:
- the pool robot slips on the walls;
- the pool robot does not climb walls properly;
- the pool robot does not reach the waterline;
- the pool robot loses grip on mosaic or tiles;
- the pool robot struggles on fiberglass or smooth surfaces;
- the pool robot moves poorly or does not complete the cleaning cycle correctly.
In many cases, the problem does not depend on the motor or internal traction, but on the fact that the standard brush cannot generate enough grip on the surface.
Suitable surfaces
The short Wonder brush is especially recommended for pools with surfaces where more grip is needed compared to traditional PVC (flap) brushes. It is particularly suitable for:
- mosaic;
- tiles;
- ceramics;
- painted concrete;
- some types of fiberglass;
- slippery surfaces;
- PVC / liner, especially in the presence of a perimeter safety step.
Real benefits of the Wonder brush
Replacing a worn or PVC (flap) brush with an original short Wonder brush can bring concrete benefits:
- more grip on walls;
- better climbing towards the waterline;
- greater stability on smooth or slippery surfaces;
- better coverage of the cleaning cycle;
- less slipping during operation;
- more consistent performance on difficult surfaces.
Compatibility
Compatible with Pool Robots: BWT, Dolphin Maytronics, Zodiac, Astralpool, Aquabot, Aquatron. Original BWT product.
Note: if installed on Dolphin Maytronics robots, they will be slightly shorter than the white Dolphin brushes; this does not affect proper operation in any way.

FAQ
Which surfaces is it recommended for?
It is particularly suitable for mosaic, tiles, ceramics, painted concrete, some types of fiberglass, slippery surfaces and, in specific situations, also PVC or liner.
What are short Wonder PVA foam brushes?
They are specific brushes for pool robots designed to improve grip on particularly slippery surfaces, where classic PVC (flap) brushes may offer less traction.
When should you install a Wonder brush?
It is recommended when the pool robot slips on walls, does not climb well, does not reach the waterline, loses grip on mosaic or tiles, struggles on fiberglass or smooth surfaces, or moves poorly and does not complete the cleaning cycle correctly.
If the robot does not climb walls, can the problem depend on the brush?
Yes. In many cases, the problem does not depend on the motor or internal traction, but on the fact that the standard brush does not generate enough grip on the pool surface. On slippery surfaces, a Wonder brush can significantly improve grip.
Does this brush help if the pool robot slips?
Yes. It is specifically designed to increase friction on walls and smooth surfaces, reducing slipping and improving the robot's stability during operation.
Is it also suitable for PVC or liner pools?
Yes, it can also be suitable for PVC or liner, especially in the presence of a perimeter safety step or when greater grip is needed compared to traditional brushes.
Is it suitable for fiberglass?
Yes, it is also suitable for some types of fiberglass, especially when the surface is smooth and the robot struggles to climb properly.
Is it suitable for mosaic and tiles?
Yes. It is one of the most recommended uses, as mosaic and tiles are among the surfaces where the robot can most easily lose grip with standard brushes.
Which brands is it compatible with?
It is compatible with pool robots BWT, Dolphin Maytronics, Zodiac, Astralpool, Aquabot and Aquatron.
If I install it on a Dolphin Maytronics robot, does anything change?
Yes, on Dolphin Maytronics robots it may be slightly shorter than the white Dolphin brushes, but this does not affect the correct operation of the robot.
Can I get help before purchase?
Yes. A free consultation is available to understand if this brush is the right spare part based on your pool robot, the pool surface and the issue you are experiencing.
